Group Show: Here There
This major installation is a collaborative project by eight artists from Art Space + Nature and occupies both rooms in the Patriothall Gallery in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
The first element is an architectural structure that invites the viewer to physically explore infinite darkness, akin to that see through the branches on the edge of a dense coniferous forest. The second element is a light installation celebrating the dappled light that punctuates the forest. The installation is completed by a photographic essay derived from fieldwork in Scotland's coniferous forests.
