After a collaborative field study in the Orkney Islands, students from Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts held an exhibition at the Pier Arts Centre on Stromness, Orkney.

Each artist made their own piece. The individual pieces were then transported to the Pier and installed in shipping boxes, which were then custom-stamped for the exhibition. The box installation was accompanied by a video, "1 minute on Orkney", in which each participant contributed a minute long video performance, reflecting on their experience.
My personal contribution consisted of an Orkney Survival Kit, complete with a map, guide book, leisure games, a kite.
I also made a series of easy-to-find Orkney artifacts. The artifacts were painted red in the manner of the Pier Arts Centre.
